Guild plans....
I have been pushing pretty hard to hit instances and talking about recruiting members and it occures to me I might be out of line with the interests of the guild in general. I'd like to be in raid mode as soon as possible and have been using this forum for trying to coordinate that. My ultimate goal has been for us to be raiding karazhan as soon as possible.

So I feel like I've hijacked the site in trying to fill my interests, and I'd like to know what others think.

What are your interests for what you want to see out of the game?
Wen we created this guild, everyone was leveling, but now most are 70 and there are much more things to do than I ever imagined. The game offers many aspects: leveling, pvp, questing, instances, and raiding, and being doing whatever with friends. Specifically, the raiding component needs us to coordinate much more than we ever did.
What about guild policies?
Do we need anything like this? For example, I defined what our guild  "on days" and times are. Is this kind of thing helpful, or does it get in the way and put stress on enjoyment of the game?
What about recruiting?
Originally this guild was created as an association of friends who like to play the game and can socialize. We can still raid if we don't recruit, but we will need to pug nearly half the positions (for 10 man) and our results will vary widely each time. This is ok if its not a big deal to everyone.

and so goes my 2 gold coins... ;)

Re: Guild plans....
I would love to have some predictability to what we are doing.  And having 25%-75% of our raid PUG is a recipe for frustration.  I think of it like a sports team...  You don't PUG half of your soccer team and expect to play well together!

Honestly I don't think most folks here are that interested in making a raid team happen.  That doesn't make us bad or anything, just not raiders.

The instance char that glow posted (thanks dude!) I think will help us figure out what instances we should run.

Getting Kara keyed is indeed a cool factor thing - and a great milestone.

Doing the instances will help us work as a team, so we we have to pug kara we can pull our 1/2 of the weight without issue.
